Ron Elstad
RON ELSTAD is a self-taught California artist who honed his natural talents for many years as an illustrator. His representational paintings are diverse in subject, always pure in color with heavy impasto. While the influence of the early California Impressionists is evident in his work, Mr. Elstad’s paintings display a unique style and emotional quality.
RON ELSTAD has won numerous awards, most recently the Bronze Medal in the Art of California Discovery Awards. He is a member of the Oil Painters of America and the California Art Club
